From the moment I stepped into this fantastic place, I was blown away by its homely and calm atmosphere. The location, just a quick scooter ride away from the beach, was ideal for exploring the area. The vintage interior and meticulous cleanliness gave the space a unique charm. The breakfast served each morning was absolutely delicious, and the staff were the friendliest I've ever encountered. The open common area, pool, and large table made it easy to connect with other guests. The convenience of direct scooter rental and laundry drop-off was a major plus. This hostel truly exceeded my expectations and made my stay in Bali unforgettable.

As a senior woman, I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at this modern hostel in Canggu. The decoration throughout the hotel was beautifully done, with a mixture of vintage furniture, teakwood carvings, and hand-woven fabrics that created a warm and inviting atmosphere. The general areas, such as the pool area and the living room, were relaxing and comfortable, perfect for unwinding after a day of exploring. Additionally, the hotel's location, just off the main street, made it easily accessible for me to find restaurants, cafes, and other amenities.
If I were to suggest one improvement for a better vacation experience for seniors, it would be for the children working at the hostel to be more attentive and friendly towards guests. A warm welcome and informative introduction upon arrival would have been greatly appreciated.

I recently stayed at Gypsy Moon Bali for a week-long vacation and I had a wonderful experience. The hostel was impeccably clean and the breakfast spread was delicious. The common areas were inviting and a great place to mingle with other guests. The location was convenient, especially if you have a scooter. The staff were friendly and responsive, making me feel well taken care of. Gypsy Moon Bali offered a cozy, laid-back vibe with a lovely pool and stylish decor, making it the best hostel I've stayed at in Bali.
I would be happy to recommend this hotel.

The rooms at Gypsy Moon Bali were cozy and comfortable, with a relaxed and laid-back vibe that instantly made me feel at home. The seating area was perfect for lounging and chatting with friends, giving the room a cozy and social atmosphere. Free WiFi was a bonus to stay connected with the outside world.
Personally, I found the air conditioning in the rooms a bit too strong for my liking. But hey, I know some people enjoy a chilly room, so it's just my personal preference.

This hostel exceeded my expectations in so many ways. the dorm room was spacious and comfortable, with curtains for privacy and a well-sized locker. the bathrooms were always clean and stocked with towels and toiletries. the complimentary breakfast was simple but delicious, and the staff were more than willing to cook meals throughout the day for a small fee. the communal spaces were beautifully designed and provided the perfect atmosphere to relax and meet new friends. the location was also perfect, with cafes, grocery stores, and a yoga studio all within a short walking distance.
the swimming pool was not ready to use during my visit, which was a disappointment.

The hostel had a well-designed space with attention to detail. the curtains and ear plugs in the dorm room provided privacy and a good night's sleep. the locker size was adequate and the bathrooms were clean with towels and toiletries provided. the complimentary breakfast was simple but satisfying, and the staff could cook meals for a small additional cost. the communal spaces, especially around the pool, were perfect for relaxation. the staff were friendly and helpful, even providing transportation to the airport at a reasonable price. the location was convenient, with cafes, grocery stores, and a yoga studio within walking distance, and the beach a short scooter ride away.
Felt very relaxed, no complaints.

Perfect place! The smooth music woke me up at breakfast, like a lullaby. The swim in the cozy tropical garden made me feel like a mermaid. Extraordinary beauty!
Oh, how terrible! They only gave me two toasts and eggs for breakfast.

The location of this hotel was great, with easy access to bars, restaurants, and the beach. The free breakfast was a nice touch and the freshly cooked food was delicious. Plus, the powerful air conditioning in the room kept it nice and cool during the hot Bali days.
Despite the positive aspects, there were some drawbacks to this hotel. The room lacked sound insulation, so it felt like I was sleeping outside with all the noise from dogs and traffic.

I stayed at Gypsy Moon Bali for 6 nights as a solo traveler and it was the best hostel experience I've had. The community vibe was amazing, making it easy to meet new people. The hostel was clean and the staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. The scooters available for rent were also top-notch.
I would recommend this hotel.

During my stay at this hotel over Christmas, I absolutely loved the cozy room concept and the beautiful interior decor. The beds were incredibly comfortable, with USB ports and lights for convenience. Another highlight was the delicious food, especially the cheese and ham toastie. The staff were friendly and attentive, making my stay even more enjoyable. the location was perfect, with plenty of nearby restaurants and supermarkets, and just a short distance from the beach. I also appreciated the option to rent a bike directly from the hotel at a reasonable price.
While there were many positive aspects to my stay, there were a couple of minor downsides. the thin walls meant that noise from other guests could be a bit disruptive at night.
